Junction® at Web Summit Lisbon 2026
Junction® is one of the startups selected for the ALPHA programme at Web Summit Lisbon, 9-12 November 2026.
What Junction does
Junction® gives every physical product a secure digital identity: one QR or NFC code, printed on the existing label, that proves the product is genuine and carries its EU digital product passport (DPP). Brands manage it from a web dashboard; consumers scan it with a free app.
Why now
Web Summit opens 100 days before the first passport becomes mandatory. From 18 February 2027, EV batteries, light means of transport batteries and industrial batteries above 2 kWh need a registered battery passport under Regulation (EU) 2023/1542. Other product categories follow in phases from 2027.
What to ask us in Lisbon
- When does the passport reach my product category? When does the DPP apply
- What does the battery passport require? The battery passport in 2027
- Is a QR code on the label already a passport? A QR code is not a DPP
- New to the topic? What is a digital product passport
